Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leif Nygard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lester Jangles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nygard comes to the cage accompanied by Dread Zeppelin - Immigrant Song. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lester Jangles!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nygard throws a leg kick but Jangles sees it coming and moves out of range.
Jangles keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Jangles misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jangles slips under a jab from Nygard.
Nygard tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Jangles. Nygard shrugs it off though.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jangles.
Jangles scores with a shot to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nygard takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Jangles has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Nygard is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Nygard is breathing heavily.
Jangles uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nygard.
Nygard throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jangles wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nygard waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jangles.
Nygard looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Nygard throws a looping overhand right but Jangles ducks down to avoid it.
Jangles moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Leif Nygard has been cut.
Nygard looks to score with a jab to the body but Jangles is just out of range.
Nygard takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Jangles scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jangles scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jangles lands a really nice looking cross but Nygard seems unphased.
Jangles lands with a right hand.

Nygard is rocked!
Leif Nygard is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nygard takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A good leg kick by Jangles.
Nygard walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Nygard limp body while Jangles jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
