The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slone shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McTavish pinned against the cage. McTavish gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
McTavish throws the left hand but Slone avoids the punch easily.
McTavish throws a jab when Slone was well out of range.
McTavish throws a jab but it's blocked by Slone.
McTavish lands a head shot.
Slone moves out of range of the strikes.
McTavish works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Slone has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A slow jab from McTavish misses its intended target.
McTavish has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Cave Fighting Team in the buildup to the fight.
McTavish throws a shot from downtown. Slone moves away and avoids it.
McTavish throws the left hand but Slone avoids the punch easily.
McTavish uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

McTavish looks to land a left hand but Slone moved out of range nicely.

Donald McTavish seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McTavish misses with an uppercut. Slone saw that one coming.

Slone seems to have recovered his senses.
McTavish throws a hook to the side of Slone's head but Slone sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Slone gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! McTavish gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
