Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kapena misses with a looping left.
Penn misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Penn shoots for a double leg takedown but Kapena sprawls well. He's pushed Penn's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Penn showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kapena.
Penn has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Penn has been working on his balance at Facebreaker Academy : Striking, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Kapena.
Kapena moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Penn is rocked!
Kapena has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kapena swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Kapena stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Oh Penn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kapena throws a lazy right hand but Penn sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Penn seems to have got his legs back now.
Kapena cracks Penn on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Penn falls backwards against the cage. Kapena follows up with more strikes that drop Penn to his knees. Kapena keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Penn! This one is all over!
