Knapp's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Go to Sleep. Rory Markman is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markman slips a jab from Knapp.

Knapp closes the distance and pushes Markman back into the cage.

Knapp's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Knapp fails to land with a series of punches.
Knapp throws the left hand but Markman avoids the punch easily.
Markman dodges the punch combination from Knapp.
A swing and a miss from Knapp.
Knapp misses with a straight left.
Markman slips under a jab.
Knapp lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Markman bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Knapp tries to clinch but Markman moves out of range.

Knapp pushes Markman up against the cage in a clinch.

Markman has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Knapp regains guard immediately.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Markman is looking to pass into half guard but Knapp pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Knapp is in guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Rory Markman hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
The crowd cheers as Knapp lands an impressive looking overhand right. Markman doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Rory Markman has been cut.

Knapp doesn't manage to clinch there - Markman circles away.
Peter Knapp is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Knapp closes the distance but Markman moves to the side
and Markman counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Knapp swings for the body but Markman moves out of range.

Knapp forces Markman back against the cage and clinches.

Knapp breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Knapp tries to clinch up.
Knapp misses with a two punch combination.
Markman ducks under a wild hook from Knapp.
Knapp throws an overhand right that lands on Markman's shoulder, as Markman tries to avoid the shot.
Knapp darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Knapp wants to clinch but Markman slips to the side
and Markman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Knapp tries to close the distance and clinch up but Markman swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Markman is working for takedown but Knapp is calmly controlling the position for now.

Knapp is pressed up against the cage. Markman has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Knapp down to the mat. Knapp avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Knapp connects with a leg kick. Markman looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Oooooh!!! Knapp has knocked Markman down with a huge combo! Knapp steps away and waves a wobbly Markman back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Markman is rocked!
Markman walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Knapp! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
