Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cedric Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Webb looks to throw the jab but Jackson is out of range.
Webb gets cracked there but stands up to it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jackson is defended easily by Webb.
Jackson shoots for a takedown but Webb saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Webb gets tackled into the cage by Jackson. Jackson maintains the clinch.
Webb is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Jackson creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Webb pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Webb misses with a double jab
and Jackson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Jackson closes the distance and clinches.

Webb jumps guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Webb not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Webb is pulling down on Jackson's head. It's preventing any offense from Jackson, at least for the moment.
Jackson is looking to stand up but Webb won't let him.
Webb lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jackson!
Jackson is trying desperately to improve position.

Webb jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jackson manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Webb wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jackson, who protects the arm well.

Jackson bucks up and throws Webb to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!
Jackson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Jackson rushes Webb and presses him up against the cage.

Webb is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jackson pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Webb tries to pull guard but Jackson forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Cedric Jackson seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
