Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Caiaphas Caine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffry McWild (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caine throws the kick towards the body but McWild avoids it.
Caine has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
McWild loads up on a big right hand but Caine slips the punch.
McWild lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Caine circles away quickly and effectively.

McWild displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Caine throws out the jab.

McWild throws a hook to the side of Caine's head but Caine sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

McWild throws a strike but Caine rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McWild accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
My spies in Rape Academy inform me that McWild has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Caine drops back, looking for a kneebar! McWild looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. McWild looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from McWild!

Caine lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of McWild backwards.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McWild is working for takedown but Caine is calmly controlling the position for now.

McWild has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Caine is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

McWild escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Caine explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
McWild uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Caine.

McWild thows a huge punch but Caine dodges it nicely.

Jeffry McWild comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
