Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alden West!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vlad Koloff!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Valeri Chadov and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koloff gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and West counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Koloff!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Koloff tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Koloff wants to control his opponent's hands but West gets his hands free.
West has the hooks in. Koloff is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Koloff grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
West is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. West gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. West gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. West apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Koloff throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. West was covering up waiting for the punch and Koloff finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
West is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
West shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Koloff looks to land a combination but West avoids it well.

West really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Koloff fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but West avoids it really well and circles away.
West lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Koloff circles away quickly and effectively.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
West avoids a punch combination nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Alden West will probably get the nod.

That was a close second round but I would say that Alden West will probably get the nod.

I would just about give that final round to Vlad Koloff.
