The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
William defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bishop.
William could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
William doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bishop counters with a low kick, right behind William 's knee.
Bishop lands with a slapping head kick.

It looks like Owen William has been cut.
Bishop goes for a double leg but William avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as William continues to drive forward.
Bishop lands a nice uppercut.

Bishop gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
William is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bishop's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bishop's back!
William keeps control of the position as Bishop tries to break free.
Bishop wants to control his opponent's hands but William gets his hands free.

William is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Bishop has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but William has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Bishop taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. William doesn't care though - he's delighted!
