The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pettersson looks to score with a jab to the body but Jacobs is just out of range.

Pettersson's coach down at Kebab House was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Pettersson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Jacobs doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Tyson Jacobs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pettersson tries to close the distance and clinch but Jacobs swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Jacobs working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pettersson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pettersson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jacobs has his foot on Pettersson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pettersson works his way back into a safe position though.

Jacobs looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Pettersson is defending well. Jacobs quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Pettersson has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Jacobs celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
