PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Byron Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Sibelius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson comes to the cage accompanied by Kanye West feat Chief Keef, Pusha T, Jadakiss, Big Sean - I Don't Like. Jean Sibelius told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Byron Nelson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 39 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jean Sibelius!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sibelius moves into range and connects with a jab.
Nelson avoids the body shot from Sibelius.
Sibelius throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Jean Sibelius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nelson wants to control but Sibelius is keeping him busy.

That was a close round but I would say that Byron Nelson will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Sibelius drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sibelius jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Jean Sibelius showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

I would just about give that final round to Jean Sibelius.
