Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Matti Meikalainen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Reijo Rento!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meikalainen on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rento. Rento obviously looking to wear him down.
Meikalainen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Meikalainen pivots, looking for a leg kick but Rento is out of range and Meikalainen settles back down.
Meikalainen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rento was well out of range. Poor timing from Meikalainen.
Rento throws a leg kick which misses Meikalainen's front leg but catches the back leg as Meikalainen tries to avoid it.
Meikalainen avoids the head kick by Rento.
Meikalainen throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Rento moves away from the strike by Meikalainen.
Rento walks into a straight right hand from Meikalainen.
Meikalainen tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Rento is able to avoid easily.
Meikalainen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rento gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Meikalainen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rento on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Rento jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Rento connects with a right hand. Meikalainen shakes it off.
Rento catches Meikalainen with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Rento swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rento misses with a wild combination.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rento throws the left hand but Meikalainen avoids the punch easily.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Rento checks a leg kick.
Rento closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Rento throws a leg kick but Meikalainen sees it coming and moves out of range.
Nice shot by Meikalainen.
It looks like Reijo Rento has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rento shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Meikalainen as he jumps to the side.
Meikalainen scores with a shot to the body.
Meikalainen connects with an inside leg kick.
A big left from Meikalainen misses.
A jab from Rento misses.
Rento tries a head kick but it misses.
Meikalainen fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rento.
Meikalainen sends Rento crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Meikalainen is motioning to the referee to let Rento up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Rento looks winded!
Meikalainen connects with a leg kick. Rento looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Meikalainen lands a front kick.
Meikalainen is looking to chop away at Rento's legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
and Meikalainen counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Rento! He's just covering up as Meikalainen starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matti Meikalainen!
