Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc Woite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Murphy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Róisín Murphy - Pandora. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woite throws a nice head kick!
Woite fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Murphy manages to avoid it.
Woite tries to bum rush Murphy with a series of wild strikes but Murphy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Woite swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Woite tries to score with a low kick but Murphy moves his leg out of the way.
A head kick misses from Woite.
Murphy takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Murphy checks a leg kick nicely.
Woite misses with an attempted mid kick.
Woite tries to clinch up.

Woite wants to clinch up but Murphy keeps it at a distance.
Woite misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Murphy ducks under a wild hook from Woite.
Woite fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Murphy is out of range.
Woite throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Murphy counters with a good, hard body kick but Woite shrugs it off.
Murphy tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Woite waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Murphy.
Woite's coach down at Bad Pluto! was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Woite's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Woite throws a sloppy head kick and Murphy moves out of range easily.

Woite finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Murphy takes one to the chin there.
Woite doesn't manage to clinch there - Murphy circles away.
Woite scores with a head kick. Murphy tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Woite misses with a kick to the body
and Murphy counters with a body kick.
Woite lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Brian Murphy has been cut.

Woite throws a shot from downtown. Murphy moves away and avoids it.
Woite throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Murphy.
Murphy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A low kick from Woite misses
and Murphy counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Woite throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Murphy counters with a low kick, right behind Woite 's knee.

and Murphy counters with a head kick that drops Woite to the mat! Woite scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Murphy takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Woite is still on wobbly legs! Can Murphy finish him?

and Murphy counters with a perfectly timed head kick, knocking Woite out cold! Wow, that took some serious skill and not a little luck! Murphy is taking it in his stride though, strolling around like it's no big deal. What a guy.
