Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kenichi Shirahama!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frick misses with a straight left.
Shirahama is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Frick throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Shirahama's waist but Shirahama gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Frick off to one side.

Shirahama bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Shirahama fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Frick sprawls well initially but Shirahama persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Shirahama around the waist but Shirahama pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Shirahama is the winner by TKO! Shirahama jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
