Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Owen Orwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Stubb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orwell comes to the cage accompanied by Nuclear. Stubb has chosen Paper Scratcher as his entrance music. Michael Stubb looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stubb shoots in for a double leg but Orwell sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Orwell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stubb paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Stubb tries to keep at a distance but Orwell has taken the fight into the clinch.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Stubb has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Orwell jerks Stubb's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Stubb drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Orwell goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Orwell because Stubb was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
