Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nobero Shimasaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kay Yak!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shimasaki looks to score with a jab to the body but Yak is just out of range.
Yak keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
A big right from Shimasaki misses.
Shimasaki moves in looking to clinch but Yak pushes him off.
Yak walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Yak throws a left and a right that both miss

and Shimasaki counters by moving into the clinch.
We've been informed that Yak has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Shimasaki has Yak pressed against the cage, preventing Yak from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

The fighters circle momentarily. Yak darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
