Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Riki Bolbauwah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Kart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nate Kart!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Kart with that takedown attempt.
Bolbauwah looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Kart fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Bolbauwah has closed the distance and engaged Kart in a clinch.
Kart tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Riki Bolbauwah has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nate Kart.

Bolbauwah lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Kart is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bolbauwah pulls his head out easily.
Bolbauwah looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kart with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Bolbauwah is trying to control the action in half guard but Kart is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Bolbauwah lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Kart moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Kart has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bolbauwah can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Kart can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bolbauwah controls the pace.

Kart takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Kart tries to bench press Bolbauwah off him but Bolbauwah keeps the position.
Bolbauwah looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bolbauwah is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kart will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Bolbauwah is trying to get an arm triangle but Kart is defending well.
Kart is trying to control Bolbauwah's posture but Bolbauwah avoids it.
Kart tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bolbauwah wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Bolbauwah scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Kart to see if he's OK.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kart tries to bench press Bolbauwah off him but Bolbauwah keeps the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kart wants to get back to his feet but Bolbauwah drags him back down.
Kart is trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Bolbauwah's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

A nice combination there by Bolbauwah.
Kart tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Bolbauwah counters with a left and a right that stings Kart.
Kart doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bolbauwah counters with a nice body kick.
No joy there for Bolbauwah, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kart feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Kart is looking to work some ground and pound but Bolbauwah has wrist control.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Nate Kart wasn't active enough on the ground.

Kart checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Bolbauwah throws a chopping leg kick but Kart manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Kart tries to clinch but Bolbauwah is having none of it.

Bolbauwah shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kart's guard.

Kart is looking for a triangle but Bolbauwah pushes his legs off easily.
Bolbauwah is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bolbauwah's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Kart wants to control but Bolbauwah is keeping busy.
Kart is trying to escape back to his feet but Bolbauwah uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Kart takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Kart tries to buck Bolbauwah off but Bolbauwah is having none of it.
Bolbauwah in side control lands a decent elbow.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Nate Kart showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Bolbauwah's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Kart moves out of range of the body kick from Bolbauwah.
Kart lands a leg kick that knocks Bolbauwah off balance momentarily.
Bolbauwah shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kart eats them both and turns towards Bolbauwah to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Kart shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bolbauwah but Bolbauwah pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Kart counters with a single leg into guard. Bolbauwah didn't expect that.
Kart stands and throws Bolbauwah's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Kart wants to work for an arm triangle but Bolbauwah is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Kart looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Nate Kart has got the better of the ground game so far.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kart uses his free foot to push down on Bolbauwah's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bolbauwah.

Kart tries to control but Bolbauwah wriggling away.
Kart sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Kart won't let Bolbauwah get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Bolbauwah is looking to improve his position but Kart isn't that keen on the idea.
Kart lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kart can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bolbauwah is looking to escape.
Bolbauwah is bucking up trying to escape but Kart cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Nate Kart comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
