The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Opdauhl scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. James doesn't seem bothered though.

James fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Opdauhl to the ground. James is now in Opdauhl's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Opdauhl ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Opdauhl lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Opdauhl throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Opdauhl scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. James doesn't seem bothered though.
Opdauhl works James's body with a nice hook.
Opdauhl lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
James gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Opdauhl digs a good body shot into James's ribs.
Opdauhl lunges at James with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by James's hand.

Opdauhl stops a takedown attempt from James.

James is rocked!
Opdauhl stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Opdauhl breaks from the clinch.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Opdauhl moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt James! Opdauhl continues to tee off on James, landing with a left and a right! Opdauhl connects with a right hand that leaves James sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Opdauhl!
