Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Christoper Puckett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeShawn Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DeShawn Johnson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Christoper Puckett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, DeShawn Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws a jab but it's blocked by Puckett.
Johnson throws a hook but Puckett avoids it easily.
Johnson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Puckett dodges the punch combination from Johnson.
Johnson throws an overhand right that lands on Puckett's shoulder, as Puckett tries to avoid the shot.
Johnson swings for the body but Puckett moves out of range.
Johnson throws a lazy uppercut

and Puckett counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Puckett will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Puckett throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Johnson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Puckett trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom.
Johnson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Puckett is one step ahead there.

Christoper Puckett has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Johnson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Puckett looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Johnson cracks Puckett with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Johnson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Puckett to stand back up!

Puckett is rocked!

It looks like Christoper Puckett has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Puckett moves away from the strike by Johnson.
Oh Puckett is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Puckett takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Johnson ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Puckett's jaw. Puckett's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Johnson does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). DeShawn Johnson!
