PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Iheb Aribii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Fuller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuller fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Aribii looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Fuller, right into the meat.
Fuller throws a predictable looking body shot
and Aribii counters with a two punch combo.
Aribii tries to clinch up but Fuller circles away and keeps his distance.
Aribii tries to close the distance and clinch but Fuller swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Aribii closes the distance and clinches up with Fuller, looking for a takedown. Aribii pushes Fuller against the cage but Fuller circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Fuller takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Aribii fails with a takedown attempt.
A decent looking cross lands there for Aribii.
Fuller scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Fuller has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Aribii closes the distance and pushes Fuller back into the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fuller breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Aribii tries to clinch there but Fuller circles away.

Aribii on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Fuller takes a swing at Aribii's ribcage but misses.
Aribii really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fuller misses with an uppercut.
Fuller ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Fuller throws a leg kick which misses Aribii's front leg but catches the back leg as Aribii tries to avoid it.
Aribii is breathing heavily.
Aribii ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fuller fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Fuller swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fuller circles away from the clinch attempt
and Fuller counters with a stiff right hand.
Aribii tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

A head kick misses from Aribii.

Aribii rushes Fuller and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Aribii has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Fuller after a bit of a struggle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Iheb Aribii. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Aribii has had enough of the clinch but Fuller keeps him there for the moment.

Fuller manages to break the clinch.
Fuller moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Fuller throws a nice outside leg kick.
Aribii ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Chris Fuller is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fuller tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Aribii's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Fuller connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Aribii scrambles back to his feet.

Aribii is rocked!
Fuller looks to land a right hand but Aribii moved out of range.
Fuller fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Aribii has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Aribii shoots in for a takedown but Fuller shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Fuller swings for the body but Aribii moves out of range.

Fuller lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Oh Aribii is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fuller scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Aribii fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Fuller dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fuller swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Aribii.
Aribii misses with a head kick.
Fuller lands a right hook to the body.
Fuller thuds a left hand into Aribii's body.
Fuller misses with a wild body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fuller works Aribii's body with a nice hook.
Fuller misses with an uppercut. Aribii saw that one coming.
Aribii seems to have got his legs back now.
Fuller ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Fuller stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Fuller lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Fuller closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Aribii! Fuller dives in looking to finish! Aribii is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
