Alekseev comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Imperium kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Joe Leduc has the better chin. Alekseev slips a jab from Leduc.
Alekseev throws a jab but it's blocked by Leduc.
The fight stays on the outside here - Alekseev looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Leduc is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Alekseev's half guard.
Leduc uses his free foot to push down on Alekseev's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Alekseev.

Alekseev wants to hold on but Leduc pushes him away.

Leduc is just content to waste time from the top position. Alekseev takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Alekseev is looking to cinch up a triangle. Leduc throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Alekseev's body to avoid the submission. Alekseev has instead reached around Leduc's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Alekseev arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
