The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wallace moves into the clinch.

Wallace gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Sampson looking to control but Wallace passes into half guard.
Wallace tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Sampson is trying to get back to full guard.
Wallace thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sampson's head.
Wallace wants to free his trapped foot but Sampson is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Wallace uses his free foot to push down on Sampson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sampson.

Wallace trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Sampson can't escape the position.

Wallace quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Wallace but it's paid off an Sampson is forced to tap! Nice work by Wallace.
