The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boykiy throws a body kick that misses.
Cropp uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
It looks like Dimas Boykiy has been cut.
Boykiy is looking to clinch but Cropp is avoiding it.
Cropp bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Boykiy pushes off an throws an elbow but Cropp leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Boykiy has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cropp is proving hard to escape from.

Cropp lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Boykiy takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
A head kick misses from Boykiy.
Cropp throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Cropp tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Boykiy doesn't manage to clinch there - Cropp circles away.

Boykiy connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Dimas Boykiy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boykiy throws a series of punches but Cropp moves out of range.
Cropp throws a hook but Boykiy blocks it.
Boykiy fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Cropp checks it well.
Boykiy shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
That has opened up Dimas Boykiy's cut even more.
Cropp on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Boykiy throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Boykiy uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cropp.
Boykiy misses with a low kick as Cropp jumps back.
Boykiy throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Cropp shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Boykiy manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Boykiy will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Cropp stands up over Boykiy, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Cropp postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Boykiy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cropp defends well.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Cropp will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Boykiy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Cropp postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Cropp with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Cropp wants to control from the top but Boykiy keeps moving.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boykiy seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Boykiy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Boykiy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cropp circles away quickly and effectively.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Karol Cropp dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Dimas Boykiy's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Boykiy throws a body kick that misses.
Boykiy fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cropp on the side of the head.
Cropp displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Boykiy throws out the jab.
Boykiy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cropp moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Karol Cropp is winning the standup battle so far.
No joy there for Cropp, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cropp throws a left that rocks Boykiy and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Cropp dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Boykiy regain composure!

Cropp has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Boykiy!
Boykiy is still in real trouble! Can Cropp finish him?
Cropp cracks Boykiy with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

After the fight, Karol Cropp was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
