The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mccarthy blocks a head kick by White.
No joy there for White, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mccarthy is looking to clinch.
White stalks Mccarthy and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mccarthy's face. Mccarthy staggers backwards, shaken.
White throws a head kick that misses.
White throws a sloppy head kick
and Mccarthy holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
White lands with a short shot to the head.
White misses with a hook from the clinch.
Mccarthy is working for takedown but White is calmly controlling the position for now.
Mccarthy drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

White is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Blake White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mccarthy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Mccarthy takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Mccarthy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so White is just riding it out for now. Mccarthy eventually gives up the hold.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mccarthy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
