Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Dimagiba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dee Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dimagiba fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dimagiba moves in looking to clinch but Jay pushes him off.
Dimagiba throws a series of punches but Jay avoids them all with ease.

and Jay counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Dimagiba!

Jay tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jay has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Dimagiba swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Dimagiba's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dimagiba takes a swing at Jay's ribcage but misses.
Dimagiba walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Jay checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Dimagiba will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jose Dimagiba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jay misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jay has control of Dimagiba's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dimagiba regains control of the situation pretty easily.
