Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Samak Tiyapairat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tiyapairat might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ram Muay. Samak Tiyapairat could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ryan Sonnen's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonnen takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Tiyapairat on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Sonnen takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Ryan Sonnen has been cut.

Tiyapairat throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sonnen swings for the body but Tiyapairat moves out of range.
Tiyapairat throws a body punch but Sonnen moves out of range.
Sonnen keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Sonnen scores with a hook to the body. Tiyapairat takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A cross from Sonnen lands.
Tiyapairat throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sonnen counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Sonnen feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tiyapairats jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Tiyapairat throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sonnen bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Tiyapairat's head backwards.

Tiyapairat is rocked!
Sonnen connects with a body shot that sends Tiyapairat's belly button to the back.
Oh Tiyapairat is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tiyapairat looks to clinch
and Sonnen counters with a crisp right that sends Tiyapairat to the canvas! Sonnen follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
