Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Choco Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darwingh Alvarezz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Choco Bang has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bang shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Alvarezz manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Bang tries to free his leg and advance position but Alvarezz is retaining full guard.
Bang has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Alvarezz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bang defends it easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Choco Bang has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Horrible takedown by Bang or perhaps it was just good defense by Alvarezz which made him look bad.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
