The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minor fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Beliveau sprawls well initially but Minor persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Minor has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad The Island. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Minor prevents Beliveau from improving his position.
Minor is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Beliveau!
Beliveau is bucking up trying to escape but Minor cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Minor wants to stand but Beliveau is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.

Beliveau is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Minor locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Beliveau is forced to tap!
