Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pasta Noodles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Royce Gracier!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Roberts and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noodles throws a push kick but Gracier slaps the foot to one side.
Noodles tries for a takedown but Gracier circles away easily
and Gracier counters with a left and a right that stings Noodles.
Gracier closes the distance and pushes Noodles back into the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Gracier.
Noodles changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Gracier fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Gracier clinches with his opponent.
Noodles tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gracier smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pasta Noodles. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gracier moves into range and connects with a jab.
Noodles is rocked!
Noodles gets in close and instigates a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracier lands a left hand.
Oh Noodles is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gracier misses with some punches.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Noodles.
Gracier throws a big uppercut that drops Noodles! More strikes from Gracier and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Noodles lies dazed against the cage as Gracier celebrates with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Royce Gracier!
