The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bermudez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Glover postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bermudez is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Glover, into his guard.

Glover really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bermudez wants to get up but he can't break Glover's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Glover will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bermudez controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Bermudez swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Glover is now in Bermudez's guard. A big mistake from Bermudez there, giving up the dominant position!

Ronald Bermudez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Bermudez sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Glover's guard.
It looks like Bermudez is going to stand back up.

Well Bermudez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
