Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Powell bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Mcmahon can't do much from the bottom here.
Mcmahon tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Powell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mcmahon keeps working.
Mcmahon is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Powell is controlling him well.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Powell has eaten all the pies!

Powell has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Mcmahon is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Alexlamar Powell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Mcmahon gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Powell to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Powell changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mcmahon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Powell is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mcmahon sees it coming and defends easily.
Powell takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Powell seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mcmahon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Powell has his foot on Mcmahon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mcmahon works his way back into a safe position though.

Alexlamar Powell is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kevin Mcmahon.
Well Powell has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
