Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vincent Oketch!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Oketch misses its intended target.
Hold closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hold is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Oketch gets back to full guard.
Hold pushes down on Oketch's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Oketch regains full guard. Nicely done.
Oketch not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Oketch has his foot on Hold's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hold works his way back into a safe position though.
Oketch keeping moving, preventing Hold from controlling successfully.

Oketch throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Hold escapes and throws Oketch's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Oketch wants to control but Hold postures up.

Hold tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Oketch is looking for a sweep.
Oketch gets back to half guard.
Hold is trying to work for a kimura but Oketch is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oketch gets full guard.

Oketch looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Oketch looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Hold drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hold jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hold avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Oketch is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Oketch has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hold can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Oketch is looking to cinch up a triangle. Hold throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Oketch's body to avoid the submission. Oketch has instead reached around Hold's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Oketch arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
