The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That was a close round but I would say that Friedrich Bergfried will probably get the nod.

Turris stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bergfried swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bergfried can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Turris controls the pace.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kyle Turris hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Turris is trying to trip Bergfried. He has hold of a leg but Bergfried is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Turris persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
