The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woodley fails in his attempt to clinch.
Woodley throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Woodley throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Woodley looks to land a combination but Norvell avoids it well.
Woodley defending well as Norvell loads up on a big left hand.
Norvell loads up on a big right hand but Woodley slips the punch.

Norvell frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Woodley is desperately trying to improve his position but Norvell has a good base and remains in mount.
Woodley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Norvell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
