Though's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hall Of Fame - The Script feat. will.i.am. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Though throws a nice looking combination but Gibbler bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gibbler shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Though has a takedown stuffed.
Though avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jim Gibbler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gibbler wants to clinch up but Though keeps it at a distance.
Though walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like David Though has been cut.
Gibbler stuffs the takedown attempt from Though. Though gets slowly back to his feet.
Gibbler throws out a leg kick but Though moves out of range and Gibbler only half commits.
Gibbler lands with an overhand left.
Gibbler catches Though with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Though forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jim Gibbler!
David Though was interviewed post fight and said 'Sorry I didn't knock this guy clean out!'.
