Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johny Rico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rico comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bolt Thrower - The IVth Crusade kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Anthony Power has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Anthony Power!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Johny Rico!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rico changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Rico closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Power to the mat! Power manages to get full guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Rico missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Rico thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Power wants to stand and escape but Rico is having none of it.
Power can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rico controls the pace.
Rico trying to move into half guard but instead Power has managed to sweep!
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Rico holds on and takes a little breather.
Power stopping the sweep attempt from Rico.
Rico manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rico can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Power is looking to escape.

Rico connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Rico cracks Power with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Power takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
A nice elbow there by Rico.
Power tries to hold on but Rico postures up.
Power is trying to escape the mount.
Rico tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rico lands a heavy elbow.
Power is in all sorts of trouble here.
Rico lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rico looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Power covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johny Rico!
