Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fardoche Fermier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jagger Jacques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Fardoche Fermier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jagger Jacques!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fermier misses the shot to the body.
Jacques looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Fermier closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Fermier seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jacques does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Jacques slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Fermier knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jacques on the ground.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Jacques is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fermier pulls his head out easily.
Jacques is not content to let Fermier control the position.
Fermier winds up and cracks Jacques with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jacques has hold of Fermier's hands but Fermier slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Fermier lands a nice short elbow.
Fermier working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Fermier drops an elbow to the side of Jacques's head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Well, if Fermier is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Fermier is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Fermier wants to stand up but Jacques is controlling the position.
Jacques is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Fermier scores with a couple of nice shots.

Fermier is nestled in close to Jacques, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fermier takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Fermier seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Fermier lands a slapping body shot.
Jacques wants to clinch up but Fermier keeps it at a distance.
Fermier connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jacques's hands.


Jacques is rocked!
Fermier seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Fermier closes the distance looking for a takedown. Jacques stuffs it but Fermier still has hold of him. Fermier picks Jacques up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Fermier slams Jacques to the floor and that's really hurt Jacques - he doesn't know where he is! Fermier throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fardoche Fermier!
