The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powell shoots in and drives through. Bean sprawls well.
Bean tries to clinch but Powell is having none of it.
Powell blocks a head kick by Bean.
Powell looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bean is fending him off so far but Powell persists. Nope, Bean circles away and we're back to standing.
Powell clinches up against the cage.
Bean looking to stall.
Powell pulls guard successfully.

Powell seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Powell should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Bean throws a strike but Powell rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Bean knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Powell on the ground.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Powell has eaten all the pies!
Powell jumps guard but Bean stands there with Powell around his waist. Powell gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Bean has had enough of the clinch but Powell keeps him there for the moment.
Bean wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Powell has him pressed against the cage.
Powell has Bean pressed against the cage, preventing Bean from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
A frustrated look appears on Bean's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Powell keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Bean's efforts to push away.

Powell looks to score with a jab to the body but Bean is just out of range.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bean enables Powell to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bean manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bean throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Bean isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Powell stacks Bean on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Powell!
Bean tries to buck Powell off but Powell is having none of it.

Powell has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Bean tries to hold on but Powell pushes him away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Powell prevents Bean from getting the reversal.

That's time! Bean's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Powell throws a sloppy head kick and Bean moves out of range easily.
Bean tries to close the distance and clinch up but Powell swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Powell rushes Bean and presses him up against the cage.
Powell utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Powell lands with a right to the head.
Bean wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Powell escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Powell tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bean swivels and escapes.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Powell. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Bean fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Powell shoots in but Bean avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Powell shoots in for a double leg but Bean sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Alexlamar Powell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Powell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bean's waist but Bean gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Powell off to one side.

I would just about give that final round to Alexlamar Powell.
Well Powell has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
