Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Ankarstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eleven Twelve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Charlie Ankarstrom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eleven Twelve!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Luis Engracia and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Twelve.


It looks like Charlie Ankarstrom has been cut.

Ankarstrom gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Twelve's coach down at GreatWall MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Twelve's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Ankarstrom ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ankarstrom no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Ankarstrom is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Ankarstrom regains full guard. Nicely done.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Twelve wants to control from the top but Ankarstrom keeps moving.

Twelve avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Twelve accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Twelve thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Ankarstrom has his foot on Twelve's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Twelve works his way back into a safe position though.

Twelve wants to control from the top but Ankarstrom keeps moving.
Twelve pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ankarstrom is keeping the position for now.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ankarstrom is on top in guard.

Twelve manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ankarstrom manages to get himself to full guard.

Twelve drops back looking for a leg! Ankarstrom is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ankarstrom manages to kick Twelve off! Twelve jumps back into Ankarstrom's guard.

Ankarstrom working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Twelve doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Twelve manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Twelve in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Twelve stands and throws Ankarstrom's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Twelve has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Ankarstrom is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Twelve yanks on the arm and Ankarstrom is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Twelve.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Eleven Twelve!
A less than humble Eleven Twelve misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
