Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chinchin Chin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Canadian Hero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chin comes to the cage accompanied by Guts! Guts! - Akira Kushida. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hero delivers a nice body kick.

Hero forces Chin back against the cage and clinches.
Chin tries for a takedown. No joy.
Chin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hero walks away with a smile on his face. Chin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hero ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Canadian Hero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chin takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Hero throws a head kick that misses.
Hero throws a wild body kick that Chin sees coming a mile off.

Chin closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Chin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hero smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chinchin Chin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A head kick misses from Hero.
Hero takes a swing at Chin's ribcage but misses.
Hero throws a body kick that misses.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Chin checks a leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hero swings for the body but Chin moves out of range.
Hero avoids the body shot from Chin.
Chin scores with the left hand. Hero knows he should have avoided that one.
Chin avoids the body shot from Hero.
Chin looks to land a body kick but Hero moved away.
Hero checks the leg kick.

Hero has Chin up against the cage in a clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Hero misses with some punches.
Chin has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hero avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Hero is pressed up against the cage. Chin has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hero down to the mat. Hero avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hero misses with a double jab.
Hero throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Chinchin Chin has been cut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chin takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Chin is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hero connects with a nice cross there... Chin is looking wobbly and Hero recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Chin to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Hero jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Canadian Hero! Canadian Hero retains his lightweight title!
After winning the bout, Canadian Hero thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
