Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mach II (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darby Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). II kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ace of Spades. Gordon has chosen United Booty Foundation as his entrance music. Mach II has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
II ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gordon moves away.
Gordon has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as II is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Gordon lands with an uppercut that bounces II off the cage and back into range.
Gordon misses with a double jab.
Gordon clobbers II with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
II walks into a jab.
Gordon moves out of range as II throws a body kick.
II scores with a punch to the head.
Gordon misses with a body kick.
II wants to land a leg kick but Gordon is out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gordon stuffs the takedown attempt from II. II gets slowly back to his feet.
Gordon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gordon scores with a nice body kick.
II throws a leg kick but Gordon checks it.
Gordon connects with a body shot.

II misses with a straight right.
II throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A head kick misses from Gordon.
II shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gordon sprawls well. Gordon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. II gets slowly back to his feet.
We've been hearing reports that II has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
II will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mach II. That's going to take a lot out of him.
II misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gordon.
II fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gordon manages to avoid it.

Mach II seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from II is defended easily by Gordon.
Gordon throws a right and a left that II avoids nicely.

II throws a low kick but it's checked well by Gordon.
Darby Gordon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Gordon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but II circles away quickly and effectively.

and Gordon counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Gordon - that will leave a mark!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
II shoots in but no luck this time.
Gordon throws a shot to the body.
II fails with a takedown attempt.
II finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Gordon's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and II falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
