Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Korgan Bloodaxe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bariga Marihuanich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marihuanich has chosen Idiot bez irokeza as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The key to victory for Korgan Bloodaxe has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marihuanich checks a leg kick.
Marihuanich shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bloodaxe as he jumps to the side.
Bloodaxe is looking to clinch but Marihuanich is avoiding it.
Marihuanich walks into a jab.
Bloodaxe has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Marihuanich fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bloodaxe avoids it really well and circles away.
Marihuanich fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Korgan Bloodaxe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bariga Marihuanich.

Bloodaxe pushes Marihuanich away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Marihuanich gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Marihuanich is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bloodaxe knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Marihuanich is looking to take a break and control but Bloodaxe is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Marihuanich working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
The ground and pound from Marihuanich seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Bloodaxe takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Marihuanich wants to control but Bloodaxe is keeping him busy.
Marihuanich is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Bloodaxe can't do much from the bottom here.
Marihuanich lands a few punches from side control.
Marihuanich wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bloodaxe keeps working.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Marihuanich wants to control but Bloodaxe is keeping him busy.

Marihuanich seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bloodaxe does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Marihuanich uses his free foot to push down on Bloodaxe's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bloodaxe.
Bloodaxe is trying desperately to improve position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Bloodaxe takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Marihuanich's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
