Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Booker McQuade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edmundo Edilhson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McQuade kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Eyes of a Ranger. On his way into the cage it seems that Booker McQuade has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Booker McQuade seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McQuade swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Edilhson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Edilhson shoots in for a double leg but McQuade sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
McQuade wants to clinch up but Edilhson keeps it at a distance.

That was a close round but I would say that Booker McQuade will probably get the nod.

McQuade is really struggling to control Edilhson but he's trying to hold on to the position.
We've been hearing good reports from McQuade's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Edilhson controls McQuade momentarily but McQuade frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
