The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
PrudHomme tries to clinch there but Dos Santos circles away.

Dos Santos has closed the distance and engaged PrudHomme in a clinch.
PrudHomme tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Dos Santos avoids it.
PrudHomme misses with a knee to the head.
Dos Santos takes an elbow to the temple.
Dos Santos tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. PrudHomme smiles and moves away.
PrudHomme throws a nice outside leg kick.
PrudHomme throws a low kick, looking for Dos Santos's leg but Dos Santos calmly moves out of range.

PrudHomme moves into the clinch.

Dos Santos ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dos Santos no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

PrudHomme stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dos Santos swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Dos Santos's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Dos Santos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but PrudHomme can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
PrudHomme wants to control from the top but Dos Santos keeps moving.
