Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Four Loko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiago Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Loko might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to marry yourdaughter. Mendez has chosen Trap Door as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loko throws a right and a left that both miss.
Loko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mendez.
Loko looks to score with a jab to the body but Mendez is just out of range.
Loko bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mendez's head.
Loko scores with a head kick. Mendez tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Loko throws a low kick but it's checked well by Mendez.
Nice body kick there by Loko.
Loko throws a sloppy head kick and Mendez moves out of range easily.
Loko blocks a head kick by Mendez.
Mendez misses with a series of wild punches.
Loko lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Loko changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Mendez fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mendez lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Loko leaves Mendez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A lazy left from Mendez finds it's target.
Loko cracks the inside of Mendez's front leg.
Mendez is looking to clinch.
Mendez has a takedown stuffed.
Four Loko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tiago Mendez.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mendez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Mendez drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Loko is looking for a triangle but Mendez pushes his legs off easily.
Mendez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Loko working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mendez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Loko is tightening it up a little... Mendez has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Mendez reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Mendez taps out! Nice BJJ there by Loko!
