PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Satoshi Ishii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doe has chosen Treasure Island as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ishii dives in for a single leg takedown but Doe sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Doe.

It looks like Satoshi Ishii has been cut.
Doe lands an uppercut.
Doe looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Ishii is trying to drag Doe to the mat but Doe just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Doe has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
