Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Gruber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Killer's entrance music is Killer be Killed. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eddie Killer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 25 - 0, fighting out of London, Hans Gruber!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gruber just misses with a punch to the body.
Gruber throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gruber lands the left hand.
Killer throws a good cross that connects.


It looks like Hans Gruber has been cut.

Killer feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Gruber sprawling to the canvas! Gruber rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Killer finish him?!


Gruber is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gruber throws a right hand that misses

and Killer counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Killer.
Gruber is still in real trouble! Can Killer finish him?
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Killer tries to stand but Gruber is controlling from the bottom.
Gruber being controlled here, momentarily.
Gruber seems to have recovered his senses.
Gruber is looking to stand back up but Killer counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Gruber.
Killer looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gruber is in trouble now - Killer has advanced to mount!
Killer controlling the pace for now.
Gruber tries to hold on but Killer postures up.
Killer controlling the pace for now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Eddie Killer has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Gruber misses the body punch

and Killer counters with a takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Killer controls the position from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gruber pushes Killer away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Killer gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Gruber is being controlled here.
Gruber is trying to control Killer's posture but Killer avoids it.
Gruber prevents Killer from improving position.
Killer wants to stand but Gruber has his arm trapped.

Gruber is trying to get back to half guard.
Gruber is being controlled here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eddie Killer dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Hans Gruber's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Gruber misses the jab.
Gruber throws a combination that misses

and Killer counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Gruber is trying to keep Killer in close.
Killer controls from within his opponent's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Eddie Killer.
Killer lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Killer lands a nice looking body shot.
Gruber thows a leg kick but Killer checks it

and Killer counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Killer is controlling the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Eddie Killer.
Gruber shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Killer but Killer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A good leg kick by Killer.
Gruber takes one on the chin but seems OK.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
OH! Gruber has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Killer smells blood and charges in for the finish! Killer unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Gruber sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Eddie Killer!
