Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Pacioretty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edern Ap Nudd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ap Nudd comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lift me up kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ap Nudd takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Pacioretty misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ap Nudd cracks a nice hook into Pacioretty's ribs.
Pacioretty throws out a loose jab but Ap Nudd uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ap Nudd scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Pacioretty doesn't seem bothered though.

Ap Nudd throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pacioretty stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Pacioretty sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Ap Nudd has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Pacioretty has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Ap Nudd.
Pacioretty will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Ap Nudd keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Oh Pacioretty is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pacioretty leaves his chin hanging out and Ap Nudd seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Pacioretty crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
