Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Gilbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Havok One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chuck Gilbert!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Havok One!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gilbert pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Gilbert clinches with his opponent.

One escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
One fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gilbert avoids it really well and circles away.
Gilbert really is a fat lump.
Gilbert is looking to clinch.
Gilbert tries to close the distance and clinch but One swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Gilbert tries to keep at a distance but One has taken the fight into the clinch.
One drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Gilbert gets the underhooks and prevents it.
One tries to score a body lock takedown but Gilbert shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Chuck Gilbert has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Havok One.
One goes for a takedown attempt but Gilbert pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

One throws a head kick but Gilbert moves out of range.
Chuck Gilbert is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
One is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gilbert sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
One keeps the fight on the outside.

Havok One seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
One fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Gilbert tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but One paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Gilbert swats away the attempt to clinch by One.
Gilbert tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. One manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
One has a takedown stuffed.

One fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
One looks winded!

Gilbert tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
One misses with a kick to the body.
One fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

and One counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Gilbert moves in looking to clinch but One pushes him off.
One tries to clinch up but Gilbert circles away and keeps his distance.

One dives in and grabs Gilbert's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gilbert pushes down on One's head and hops out.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That was a close round but I would say that Chuck Gilbert will probably get the nod.

One dives in for a single leg takedown but Gilbert sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

and Gilbert makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Gilbert jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as One walks away with a smile on his face. Gilbert gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Gilbert tries to clinch up but One circles away and keeps his distance.

No luck for One with that takedown attempt.

Gilbert stuffs the takedown attempt from One. One gets slowly back to his feet.
One tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gilbert manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Gilbert is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Havok One seems to be getting the better of the standup.
One darts in trying to clinch
and Gilbert counters with a solid body kick.

A slow jab from One misses its intended target.
One tries to land a leg kick but Gilbert saw it coming and moves away.
One shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gilbert sprawls well. Gilbert wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. One gets slowly back to his feet.
One shoots in looking for a takedown. Gilbert tries to sprawl out of it but One keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gilbert manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Chuck Gilbert will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gilbert loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Gilbert wanted to stand there but One had control of the position.

One had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gilbert defends it easily.
Gilbert makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

One avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

One has control of Gilbert's left arm, preventing Gilbert from doing any damage.
Gilbert is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
One is trying to keep Gilbert in close.
Gilbert throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as One works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Gilbert postures up in One's guard and throws a big left but One blocks it.
Gilbert throws a strike but One rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Gilbert is trying to control the position from the bottom.

One trying to control the position from guard on top but Gilbert is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
One slips nicely into half guard.
Gilbert wants to control but One is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Havok One comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Gilbert has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
