Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lance Domingo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Wilkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Domingo comes into the arena with Smoke Serpent "Jui-Jitsu" blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lance Domingo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andy Wilkins!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Domingo throws a hook but Wilkins blocks it.
Domingo just misses with a punch to the body.
Wilkins misses the shot to the body.
Wilkins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Domingo manages to avoid it.
Wilkins lands with a cross.
Domingo thumps Wilkins with a low kick.

Wilkins shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Domingo napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Wilkins wants to control but Domingo is keeping him busy.
Domingo can't do much from the bottom here.

We've been hearing good reports from Domingo's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Domingo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wilkins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wilkins manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Wilkins is just content to waste time from the top position. Domingo takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Domingo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Wilkins got a little sloppy there for a moment and Domingo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wilkins has managed to get both his arms back between Domingo's legs - danger averted.

Domingo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wilkins gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Domingo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wilkins defends well.
Wilkins is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wilkins postures up in Domingo's guard and throws a big left but Domingo blocks it.
Wilkins content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wilkins lands with a straight right. Domingo didn't see that one coming.
Wilkins takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Domingo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Wilkins moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Wilkins, as that shot connected.
Domingo moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Wilkins tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Domingo was well out of range. Poor timing from Wilkins.

Domingo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Domingo showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Domingo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Wilkins defends it well.

The strikes coming from Wilkins are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wilkins connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Domingo some visible discomfort.

Wilkins has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Wilkins uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Domingo.

Wilkins drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Domingo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Wilkins has Domingo in his guard.

Wilkins unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Domingo wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Wilkins celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

After winning the bout, Andy Wilkins thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
