Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Belt Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mir is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Amazing- Kanye West. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mir looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hunter displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mir.
Hunter has been working on his boxing with his coaches at NORSE FORCE VIKIGS in the buildup to the fight.
Hunter connects with a single shot there.
Hunter tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hunter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hunter stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hunter fails in his attempt to clinch.

so Mir counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Mir stops Hunter from standing up.
My spies in Blitzkrieg Fighting Systems: Ground inform me that Mir has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Hunter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mir on the ground.
Mir controls from within his opponent's guard.
Hunter wants to stand and escape but Mir is having none of it.
Mir stands and throws Hunter's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Mir slows the pace down.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mir has an Americana. Hunter didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Mir is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Mir hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Frank Mir!
Frank Mir was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
